Harpoon Willy’s is a restaurant in Robbinsville, NJ, and it needed a complete refresh. Interior walls, dining room, bar, ceilings, trim, and specialty work including a hand-painted nautical mural that ties the whole room together.
The walls were handed to us rough. We spackled, patched, and sanded until they were ready. Then we painted the dining room and bar in a custom color package: terracotta, espresso, and accent tones that match the restaurant’s character. Drop ceilings, beams, and high-exposure areas were handled from ladders and a scissor lift, with everything below protected.
The centerpiece is the seascape mural, hand-applied on scaffolding while the space was still coming together. A nautical compass-rose floor graphic finished the story, installed by hand. Fixtures were bagged, floors covered, dust controlled. Airless spray for the big surfaces, brush and roll where the detail demanded it.
A restaurant isn’t a blank wall. It’s a space people go to for a feel, and the paint carries that. Brick, beams, arched windows, a bar that has to look right at six o’clock on a Friday. The job was protecting that character while making the whole room feel fresh and finished.
The result: a dining room and bar that look like they were always meant to be those colors. Clean lines, crisp trim, a mural that anchors the room, a floor graphic that completes the story. Everything protected, everything cleaned up, open for business.
